The organisation
Who we are, how we decide and where the funding comes from.
Our mission
To open up access to funding for people whose projects create economic, social or cultural value and who find no answer in the traditional banking system.
Our principles
Transparency
Public assessment criteria, reasoned decisions and accessible annual accounts.
Fairness
One single procedure for every application, regardless of the applicant's background or assets.
Closeness
A named contact throughout the process and continued support after payment.
Responsibility
Personal data protection and proportionate use of the information we request.
Assessment criteria
Every application is scored out of 100 using this weighting.
| Assessment criteria | % |
|---|---|
| Economic viability of the project | 30% |
| Social or regional impact | 25% |
| The applicant's capacity to deliver | 20% |
| Consistency of the amount requested | 15% |
| Medium-term sustainability | 10% |
Governance
Funding decisions are taken by a collegiate committee meeting every two weeks. No member may take part in the deliberation of an application in which they have a direct or indirect interest.
